If you're like we are, there is a good chance that you've left your drop bags plenty of times. Freezer grade zip locks work pretty good, but sometimes you need a bigger option. So we had some made up custom that are 16" Wide x 20" Tall and made of a 5 Mil, LDPE, orange transparent plastic. Plus you have your name, bib, checkpoint, and event areas on the bag for easy fill in too.
These are amazing bags. You can use them as drop bags for races. You can use them for sweaty clothes you need to take off after an event . You can organize your gear in them . They also last forever and I recommend them to anyone.
The contents were visible enough and they sealed up really tightly. Also, I just used alcohol to remove the information from one race so that they can be used over and over.
Great color obviously to pick out of a pile, large areas to mark your name and other info. I will definitely be buying again for future races that have drop bag areas!
These are perfect drop bags, the size, quality and price. Bag was so easy to find at the aid stations and contents stayed dry with a wet race day.
These drop bags worked great during my 100-miler in Norton, Virginia. It rained during much of the event and my clothes and food inside these drop bags remained dry. My hands and fingers often become less useful late in long races, but I was able to easily open and reseal these drop bags from Orange Mud each time.
