This pack upgrades from 1.0 with a new elastic sliding chest harness and a bit bigger front pockets. The rear cargo holds 1L/35oz of fluids, a plus sized phone, backup front pocket for a soft flask or other gear, and shoulder pockets for food and essentials. Its tiny size is wide ranging in fit, and high performing for tackling everything from a lunch time run, marathon, triathlon, gravel or mtb ride, and more. 

The key to fit, cinch the sides first, not the front, until you feel the pack anchor on your shoulders. Then adjust the front harness as needed so you can breathe during movement.

Whether running or cycling the Gear Vest is extremely stable to torsional, up and down, and fast movements. It tracks with your body and is very comfortable to wear. Storage up front is designed around 500ml or 600ml soft flasks.

Impressed

Recently received my vest, so I've only taken it out once so far. I'm very impressed by the fit and comfort. I had been wearing a Salomon vest and wearing this Orange Mud vest was a world of difference! Lightweight (even with 32 oz water) and doesn't bounce or slosh at all. Figuring out where I'd like to put everything (phone, gels, gloves) is a work in progress, but so far so good.

Holds a bunch and fits like it’s part of me

Used this pack for about a week during training runs. Put it to the test this past weekend, 2/18/2024, in Arizona for the Gila Monster Spartan 10k Trail run. Held 3 litres of water, 1 litre in the bladder which came with it and two in the front pockets. Brought 3 gels and 1 GU blocks plus room for my iPhone. Pack rode well on my body and never bounced or shifted. I would, without hesitation recommend this to my trail/road running friends.
