Looking for a breathable pack? We drop the foam that many packs use and focus on core breathable fabric to get heat away from your body. 

Like to store your phone, flask, and essentials up front? The front chest pockets paired with shoulder pockets have ample storage for all the goodies that you want to carry at ready access.

Unlike many running and cycling vests, we balance the use of stretchy materials where needed for comfort, but use firm materials in critical areas to maintain stability of fluids and gear. This pack is excellent for carrying your fluids, plus sized phone, electrolytes, and essentials while running and riding!

    Key to fit, cinch the sides first, not the front, until you feel the pack anchor on your shoulders. Then adjust the front harness as needed.

    • Mountain Bike or Gravel Biking: A hydration vest is essential to keep you hydrated while providing accessibility to key items like food, nutrition and phone. No bounce, and max freedom of movement. 4 front pockets for quick access of essentials.
    • Running: This hydration vest is great for a short run or as long as you want to go. 
    • Hiking: A vest for hiking is clutch for that camera ready moment and the conforming fit and quick access pockets paired with a very breathable frame means hiking bliss.

    Fit: This pack is designed to be friendly with your curves. Just slide the sliders up and down to find the optimal fit. Max chest size is a 52” chest. If you need bigger let us know and we will add more to them!

    What's different with version 3.0 over 2.0? 3.0 has:

    • Nylon straps on the front chest cinch tight and no slip/no stretch fit.
    • Structurally tough elastic on the side adjust for stretch to conform with chest breathing while maintaining stability.
    • Trekking pole anchor points are in the front and back.
    • Added hang loop for hanging the pack up.
    • Change to elastic strap retainers on the side from rigid plastic.

    Very comfortable. . .one flaw!

    I just love how comfortable the V3 is. The adjustments are simple to manipulate and change as the bladder empties. Lots of space for the storage I need.

    I have used other packs (Osprey in particular) and am very disappointed that the hose does not have a magnetic clip or other hook available. The hose bounces all over. I've tucked it in the front adjusting straps to compensate. Please add this design feature!

    Hi Dennis!

    Thanks for the review! One tip on the hose that solves the problem noted, just cut the excess length. I suggest popping off the bite valve and cutting it to where the valve starts approximately 4" in front of the elastic shoulder keeper. Then you drink and drop it and it's rock solid in one spot!

    The Mighty Mini Marvel of Multi-Sport Awesomeness

    When it comes to hydration packs, the Orange Mud Endurance Pack V3.0 is like a scrappy underdog—it’s small, mighty, and has some impressive moves. This pack ticks a lot of boxes for runners and multi-sport athletes, but let’s be real: it’s not perfect, especially if you’re on the larger side. Here’s my breakdown after putting it through its paces:

    Fit & Comfort

    I’ll start with the elephant (me) in the room. As someone wearing a US XL, this pack fits tight—tight enough that if you’re larger than XL, you might not find it comfortable. Once I adjusted the straps, it stayed put and felt secure, but it was designed with a more slender audience in mind.

    Hydration System

    This is where the pack truly shines. The 2L bladder slides in easily and doesn’t fight you when filling or storing. My twin 500ml soft flasks up front are equally hassle-free. I loved how simple it was to stay hydrated without fumbling around mid-run. However, a full bladder squishes the back storage pockets, making them less usable when carrying a lot of water. It’s a trade-off you might have to consider for longer runs or rides.

    Storage Layout

    Let’s talk about the pack’s storage game.

    The shoulder stashes are absolute champs, holding a boatload of gels (at least six per side!). The front mesh pockets easily fit essentials like salt sticks, snacks, or even an iPhone 16, which was a delightful surprise.

    But the back pockets felt cramped when the 2L bladder was full. Sure, they’re there, but they’re not super…

    Excellent

    Great product! This is my second one only because my first one was stolen! I had it for years over many trails on and off the bike. I loved having all my gear in a compact kit on my back leaving my bike frame clean of bags and cages. And when trail running I hardly know it’s there. I keep my cell in the chest pocket and my glasses in the shoulder pocket. Super convenient for taking a photo. I’m actually using it at the moment on an urban adventure in Mexico City. The storage capacity is sufficient to carry snacks, wet wipes, etc. and of course water. I loved my original black model but went with the brown model for the fun factor. I also added the trekking pole clips for my trips up Baldy. Cheers to the designers the new chest straps are nice!

    Ideal for trails/Pikes Peak

    I wore this pack while training for the double at Pikes Peak. Had some really hot runs in it and it wasn’t ever too hot to wear. The best features are the multiple pockets. I had plenty of places to store nutrition, my inhaler, phone, & gloves. I have used 2 other brands and this fit me the best. The biggest problem I’ve had with hydration packs is that they flop around a bit as the bladder gets emptied. I was able to tighten this one up so that didn’t happen.
