This pack has always been one of our favorites for short runs, triathlon, trail running, and now with the taller front pockets you can run soft flasks for a much longer range. 3.0 has an increased height on the front chest "outer" pocket so you can place larger stuff like phones, trash, nutrition and more. Plus it's velcro secure at the top. We've added a shock cord on the back left which is great for stowing a jacket or base layer. The front has rigid nylon straps, but on the side back adjustment is a heavy duty elasticated tensioner to allow freedom of movement. This pack is really light, very breathable, and with the simplicity of a bottle in the back, it's easy to refill on the fly! 

The way to fit this pack properly is to cinch down the sides nice and snug while leaving the front chest straps loose. Once complete just find the sweet spot on the front per your liking. This tension from the side is very important as it controls the fit.

Great for hot Louisiana long runs

This pack is simplistic yet performs really well. I had a Solomon that fit well but had zipper issues in the first 6 months of use. This pack is very minimal but stores just as much. The straps that connect the front and back sections are thin and I thought would chafe but after roughly 50 miles of running and heavy sweating I’m happy to report no issues. I’m very happy with this and would buy it again. 👍👍

It’s all you need

I wore the pack for my first trail marathon yesterday. I found it to be much more comfortable than a pack with a soft bladder. I like that the pack sits at the shoulders not on the back, does not bounce and trap heat around my core. The bottle on the back is easily accessible and it’s easy to return to its rightful location. The two front pouches worked great, one I used to hold an 8 oz bottle, the other for a variety of small energy sources. The shoulder pouches are a great design feature for quickly accessing energy bar size items. This is a great pack.
